M.W.A is a hip hop trio consisting of Nikhil Padmanabh aka Big Nikk,Sumukh Mysore aka Smokey,Vighnesh Shivanand aka Brodha V.In a land where Hip Hop followers are a "pin in a haystack",the MWA crew has managed to silence their critics with their extraordinary lyrics,delivery and music.
The MWA has garnered a lot of attention through social networking sites like Facebook and most importantly Youtube. Their Single "Ain't Nothing Like The Southside" has hit 15,900 on Youtube proving that the Hip Hop scene is likely to change soon in India,courtesy of the Machas With Attitude.

How to understand headphone specifications?

1)Frequency Response: Before buying a set of headphones check the range of Frequency response ie Bandwidth.It does not necessarily mean that a set of head/ear phones with wide frequency range provides a great driver.For completely assessing the frequency response only a set of numbers will do no good i.e.,20Hz-20kHz only gives us the simple frequency response.We also need to check the 3dB single line graph of the driver response.For example if a sound is supposed to start and suddenly have a sharp end,shows how well a driver responds.

2)Sensitivity(dB) : The name is very misleading.You may think that Sensitivity has something to do about sound levels.But the truth is "Sensitivity" is just a measure of how effectively the earphones use the power they receive.Earphones usually do not fully use the received power,they waste some as heat.So keep in mind that Sensitivity is solely an efficiency test.
Tip: Higher sensitivity earphones are less power hungry but still give a better performance at the same amount of power.

3)Power Handling and Impedance : Recommend power handling and impedance for mp3 player earphones
32 ohm earphone - 100mW peak / 50mW rated
16 ohm Earphone - 200mW peak / 100mW rated
These power handling recommendations are based on earphones with a sensitivity rating of 104dB and higher, going a little less if fine. If the earphones your going with have a lower sensitivity rating you would want the power handling to be less.

I am happy to tell everyone that experts now believe that music can help the brain to rewire and form new pathways for neural signals to travel.
Music also enhances the part of the brain that is responsible for arousal,motivation,pleasure and memory.

Why are Underground Artists Better Than Mainstream Artists?

An underground artist pretty much decides the type of music he wants for his tracks.But it all changes when he goes mainstream,i .e , when a lot more money is involved.He signs a contract that pretty much states that the producer has a right to choose the type of music.The producers intervene saying-"This is the type of music that sells and you have to do it otherwise its a breach of the contract"....We can see that the mixtapes are much better than the albums they drop.
Contrary to the above,many mainstream artists have proved otherwise.For instance Rakim,Nas,Tupac Shakur,Big Pun,Big L and best of all Eminem.
I have to admit the beats that Dr Dre would incorporate in his tracks were heavy,although nowadays Hip Hop sounds like Pop.
Songs by "artists" like Gucci mane go something like this-" ay ay ay ay ay ay ay" and by Rick Ross like This-" I m a Bawse,Rozay,huhhhhhhhhh"!!
50 cent has created a series of cartoons on Rick Ross which More than prove my point...They are hilarious.

Is Hip Hop dead?

If you listen to most of young guns of the Rap/Hip hop Industry we find majority of the tracks being bout sex/drugs/money.Very few of them touch on socially relevant issues.Standing out as an exception is the revolutionary rapper Immortal Technique.As i am a huge Hip Hop fan,whenever i ask my friends to lsiten to Hip Hop they say-" Its crap"....
They claim Hip Hop songs have nonsensical themes...I do agree that some artists are shit..
I hear the latest songs and every artist seems to be keen to establish their alpha male status claiming themselves to be gangsters...What good does that do?
I just cannot connect with that shit!!
