If you listen to most of young guns of the Rap/Hip hop Industry we find majority of the tracks being bout sex/drugs/money.Very few of them touch on socially relevant issues.Standing out as an exception is the revolutionary rapper Immortal Technique.As i am a huge Hip Hop fan,whenever i ask my friends to lsiten to Hip Hop they say-" Its crap"....
They claim Hip Hop songs have nonsensical themes...I do agree that some artists are shit..
I hear the latest songs and every artist seems to be keen to establish their alpha male status claiming themselves to be gangsters...What good does that do?
I just cannot connect with that shit!!
